Product description
The crab is a small-sized crustacean. Its thorax is granular and has five lateral spines. This species normally has a dark green carapace that is wider than it is long. Its first pair of locomotor appendages are pincer-like.
It is packaged in a plastic box containing 10 pieces.
Available in different sizes.
Main characteristics
Originally from the European Atlantic, Mediterranean and North African coasts. Our pieces are collected throughout this geography. They live in intertidal or subtidal zones and in a wide variety of environments, estuaries, intertidal pools, rocky or muddy areas...
It has a great adaptability to different salinities and is a very resistant bait.
Used in surf casting, pier fishing, boat and rockfishing among others.
Availability
Available all year round, but may be subject to shortages due to inclement weather.
All worms can have a loss of 40 % of their original weight, according to species.
Recommended fish
Giving that the fishing pieces are variable depending on the season, technique and geographical area, this bait is effective for any good sized species (gilthead seabream, sea bass, red seabream, white seabream...)
