Sea baits

Product description

The Fimoscolex sporadochaetus, also known as "English worm" or "White worm", is a medium-sized marine annelid. It is characterised by cilia on its underside that give it the appearance of legs and an almost white complexion.

It is packaged in a plastic box containing 8 - 10 pieces on a substrate of coarse sea sand, or a plastic bag of salt water.

Main characteristics

This bait inhabits the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Our worms come from the coast of Portugal. Collected in sandy areas, especially on mixed bottoms, they are buried at shallow depths, generally under rocks. It is a very lively annelid, a characteristic that has led to it also being called "electric".

Its best results are associated with day fishing. It is recommended for bobber fishing, although it can also be an interesting bait for bottom fishing.

Availability

Available all year round, but may be subject to shortages due to inclement weather.
All worms can have a loss of 40 % of their original weight, according to species.
