Frozen Bait

Product description

This is the XL version of the Tita bibi. It is a worm with pink or greyish tones. Its body is trunk-shaped with a reversible trunk. The mouth is at the anterior extremity surrounded by a group of tentacles.

The palangre is packaged in a plastic box containing 1 or 2 pieces depending on size and substrate of coarse sea sand.

The packaging of this bait is a vacuum sealed film.

Main characteristics

This bait is collected in areas of Portugal, the Cantabrian Sea and France. It is sedentary and lives in galleries dug in the mud or sand of coastal sea beds, buried in sediments or shallow waters. It has 32 longitudinal muscles and other circular muscles that give it a reticulated appearance and a hard skin.

This musculature gives it a hardness and thickness that favours great strength when casting, which makes it suitable for both rockfishing and sandy areas.

Availability

Available all year round, but may be subject to shortages due to inclement weather and tidal flow.
