Marphysa sanguínea is a red or brown annelid. It has five antennae of equal size. The gills emerge as a tuft with 4 or 7 other filaments.

Main characteristics

Our specimens come from the Andalusian and Portuguese Atlantic. Their main habitats are sand, rock crevices or seaweed.
